Graceful and elegant just like the acanthus, the plant from which it takes its name, Acanto is a sofa capable of surprising for its countless variations and interpretations. Strict, but never severe. Sober, yet welcoming. Minimal, but able to satisfy the eye. Adaptable, but with charisma. Acanto is a tasteful choice, able to match any furnishing need.

Technical features

Structure

Seat structure in high resistance epoxy painted tubular steel, solid wood and balanced plywood. Springing in crossed elastic belts with high rubber content. Backrest and armrest structure in solid wood and balanced plywood. Padding in high resilience polyurethane foam with different densities. Seat cover in high resilience polyurethane foam coupled with nylon jersey. Back and armrest covering in heat-bonded fiber coupled with nylon jersey or in Assopiuma Gold label certified feather (over 90% goose down) quilted in an Assopiuma certified breathable cotton lining.

Upholstery

The upholstery is available in all the fabrics and leathers of Mussi collection.

Cushions

Seat cushion padding in Assopiuma certified Ivory label goose down (90% goose down, 10% duck feather) channeled in an Assopiuma certified breathable cotton cover. Cushion support in shaped high resilience polyurethane foam. Back cushions padding in channeled Assopiuma Gold label certified goose down (over 90% goose down). Assopiuma certified breathable cotton containment lining. Upon request: cushions in high resilience polyurethane foam covered with heat-bonded fiber.

Removability

The covering of the structure and cushions is completely removable by opening the hinges and detaching the Velcro anchoring. The cover is removable in both fabric and leather versions.

Bases

Feet in metal painted with epoxy powders in champagne or gunmetal gray color.

Sitting comfort

Small-sized sofa but capable of offering a seat with a wide depth adjustable with the back cushions.

Maintenance

Squeezing is necessary for the correct maintenance of the feather cushions: slam the cushions vigorously in order to rearrange the feathers inside. The same operation must be repeated on backs and armrests in case the cover is in goose down. The height of the foot allows easy cleaning under the sofa.

Warnings

When washing the fabric cover, follow the indications on the product sheet and cover the Velcro parts that could damage the fabric during washing. The soft padding will give the cover a natural softer and more aged appearance over time.

Compositions

Acanto was created to satisfy different furnishing needs. It plays with different armrest compositions, now high now low, also available with feather upholstery.

A versatile, welcoming and elegant sofa in all its variants.
